Our Shop-to-Field Process:
1. ISO & Drawing Audit
We perform a technical review of your ISOs and project specs to identify potential problems before the first cut is made.
2. Precision Fabrication & Clocking
Using professional positioners and custom jigs, we fabricate spools in carbon and stainless steel. We ensure every flange is clocked perfectly to your site plan.
3. Internal Quality Control & NDT Coordination
Every weld is inspected for penetration and integrity. We utilize internal checklists to verify dimensions against your drawings. If your project requires non-destructive testing (NDT) such as X-ray or dye pen, we coordinate the process to ensure every joint meets the specified criteria.
4. Match-Marking & Staging for Site Efficiency
We tag and match-mark every spool according to your site plan. When the truck arrives at your job site, your field crews will know exactly where each piece fits. This "Lego-style" assembly significantly speeds up installation.
5. Field Installation & Tie-In Support
Based in Dawsonville, Superior Fabrication provides rapid mobilization for field tie-ins and retrofits. We bring the same precision used in the shop to the field. We coordinate with your site superintendents to ensure our presence supports your overall site production.

Pipe Spool Fabrication
We build custom spools in carbon and stainless steel, delivered to your site ready for installation. We work with diameters from 1/2" up to large-bore industrial piping. By moving the bulk of the welding into our controlled shop environment, you reduce your job site footprint. You also eliminate weather-related welding delays.
HVAC Piping Systems
Superior Fabrication acts as the professional piping arm for mechanical contractors. We understand the specific requirements of large-scale HVAC systems, from chilled water and condenser lines to complex process cooling. We provide code-compliant welding. This allows you to bid on larger technical contracts without expanding your in-house team.
Field Installation
Our field installation services bring 30 years of pipe expertise directly to your job site. We coordinate with general contractors and mechanical teams to deliver clean, code-compliant piping installations on schedule. We are experienced in working in active construction environments and maintain a safe, organized work area.
Carbon & Stainless Steel
We maintain strict material separation in our shop to ensure the integrity of your stainless systems. Cross-contamination from carbon steel tools can lead to premature corrosion and system failure in stainless pipes. We utilize back-purging techniques and expert GTAW (TIG) processes to ensure a smooth internal root pass.
