Carbon & Stainless Steel Pipe Work
Expert Welding for High-Pressure Systems

Material integrity is the foundation of every high-pressure system. Superior Fabrication provides expert welding and strict material separation for carbon and stainless steel pipe systems.

Carbon & Stainless Steel Pipe Fabrication

In industrial piping, using the wrong procedure or allowing cross-contamination is a recipe for failure. Superior Fabrication eliminates these risks through strict material protocols. We maintain physical segregation between carbon and stainless steel in our shop, removing the risk of metallurgical failure.

Expert Material Knowledge

We apply the correct metallurgical procedures for every grade, addressing the need for technical certainty in high-spec environments

The Material Quality Workflow: Traceability & Integrity

We ensure every material used in your project is documented and handled according to industry standards.

AREAS WE SERVE

We proudly provide carbon & stainless steel pipework to the following areas:

Strategic Material Advantages
Material FAQs

Answering the logistical questions that keep your project moving.

  • How do you prevent cross-contamination?

We maintain strict physical separation and use dedicated tools for each material. Carbon steel never touches our stainless work area, preventing premature corrosion.

  • What is "sugaring" and how do you prevent it?

Sugaring is oxidation on the back side of a stainless weld. We prevent it by back-purging the pipe with argon gas, ensuring a smooth internal profile that meets high-purity standards.

  • Can you provide MTRs for all materials?

Yes. Material traceability is a core part of our quality system. We provide full MTR packages and weld logs, so your documentation is as clean as your welds.

  • What welding processes do you use for stainless?

We primarily use GTAW (TIG) for stainless steel to ensure the highest level of precision and internal cleanliness.

  • Do you work with heavy-wall carbon steel?

Yes. We handle heavy-wall schedules, including Sch 40, 80, and 160, required for industrial steam and water lines.
